**I've been gone five or six years. I cringe at some of my work. I will get some new art up**
Photography is awesome. Realism is awesome. Abstract is awesome. However, the brain thinks in abstractions. I am interested in exploring and capturing an abstract thought. The fundamental language of the brain. I'm not interested in the concretization of multiple thoughts that form an image represented by figurative art. I respect the draftsmanship of realism, but prefer the raw and undefined look/feel of abstraction.
Close your eyes and imagine a saxophone. You certainly don't "see" the instrument. The thought is undefined, abstract, yet familiar. That is what I seek in my art.
